Producers Corner - Notes from Morning Show Producer
Scott Fitzgerald

As producer of the morning show, it is my honor to serve the O' Great One Tony Cruise each morning.  Seriously, I love sitting behind the board in the mornings.  After years of fighting traffic on the Watterson on my way to work, it's nice to not fight traffic anymore.

Just a bit of background info.  I was born and raised in Grand Rapids,. Michigan.  After serving 9 years in the United States Navy, I met my lovely wife Tami in San Diego upon returning from a Western Pacific Cruise.  In 1997 I left the Navy for Louisville and haven't looked back since.  We have two wonderful children and if you asked me at any given time I will probably tell you that life is good.  I am huge Detroit Sports fan as you will hear from time to time on the show.  Despite what you hear from many, Detroit is a fantastic sports town!

I'm always curious to hear your thoughts on the morning show or anything in general.  Feel free to drop me a line anytime at scottfitzgerald@clearchannel.com.

The great Jerry Reed has left us.  Just a 'young lad' in the 70's I became a HUGE Jerry Reed Fan primarily because of Smokey & The Bandit.  But as I got older I grew to love his music.  You better believe I have Reed tucked away on the .mp3 player!
